As we prepare to celebrate Chinese New Year—our Asian team will be observing the holiday from Feb. 15th to Feb. 23rd. During this period, our technical support and logistics services will experience slightly delayed responses, as our team members take time to reconnect with loved ones.
While responses may take a little longer during the holiday, rest assured we’ll address every inquiry with care starting Feb. 24th. Your patience and understanding mean the world to us as we honor this meaningful time.
Before the holiday break, we’d also love to share a small community update. This is our first collaboration with the Reddit r/minilab community, where we’re hosting a ZimaBoard 2 Giveaway.
I received a second-hand mini PC and got excited about installing ZimaOs, as I wanted to and was motivated to cancel my Google Photos subscription. From there, I started creating my private cloud with calendars and then an ad blocker for my home.
Currently, I’m using a combination of Immich, Nextcloud, AdGuard, WireGuard VPN, RetroArch for my games when I want to clear my mind a bit. Everything works perfectly in an environment I can control. I already feel like I’m saving money on storage subscriptions and file backups. The best part is that I can have backups on external drives.
Finally, I’m very happy to use ZimaOs because it’s very easy, intuitive, secure, and stays up to date.
The zimaOS saved a old mini pc, today is my personal homelab and backup server! Impressive how lightweight and complete the system is! A big hug from Bahia!
