Change trash auto-emptying period

Hey there!

I’m using my Zima NAS to store some backups created by Veeam on an ESX server.

I’m running a 3-day retention period, and Veeam automatically cleans up after itself. It’s working fine, as it takes about 2 out of my 6TB storage space.

The issue is that while Veeam cleans up after itself, it sends the older backups to Zima’s Trash. As ZimaOS only auto-empties the trash every 30 days, my storage fills up to 100%.

I’d like to change that 30-day period to something like 7 days. I know there’s no option for it in the UI, but it must be set somewhere. Couldn’t find any cronjobs or mentions of it in the configuration files I snooped around in, so here I am.

Is there a config file somewhere I can modify to change this?

Thanks!

Hi!

Sorry for bumping this, but does anyone know?

Sorry, we don’t have this feature yet, but I will relay your request to the product team. Thank you again for your suggestion.
