If I set my ZimeOS system to my timezone (Europe/Amsterdam), the system does not take DST into account (so it shows GMT+1 where it should be GMT+2).
I had some hard time to get this working as well and is still a problem even with ZimoOS v1.7.1 what I did was the following:
Check settings first
timedatectl timesync-status
timedatectl show-timesync --all
Make a local EU server NTP file
sudo mkdir -p /etc/systemd/timesyncd.conf.d
sudo tee /etc/systemd/timesyncd.conf.d/10-local-ntp.conf >/dev/null <<'EOF'
[Time]
NTP=0.nl.pool.ntp.org 1.nl.pool.ntp.org 2.nl.pool.ntp.org 3.nl.pool.ntp.org
FallbackNTP=time.cloudflare.com time.google.com
RootDistanceMaxSec=5
PollIntervalMinSec=32
PollIntervalMaxSec=1h
EOF
sudo systemctl restart systemd-timesyncd
Wait for 3 mins.
timedatectl timesync-status
timedatectl status
One done you see “System clock synchronized: yes” reboot and check
timedatectl status
timedatectl timesync-status
Hope this would be fixed.
In the latest version 180-beta1, we have already fixed it.
