Hi, I am running a minipc with ZimaOS installed on a usb flash drive. I have migrated the Library to the internal storage. Will it lessen the read and write of data on the usb flash drive to prolong the life of the usb flash drive it if I transfer the folders App Data & App Image on the internal storage? TIA .
Why not installing os in the internal storage of mini pc? is it dual boot? i reckon is not ideal no run os in usb flash storage, maybe your mini pc has nvme drives slots? but yes, probably migrating to internal storage improves flash drive lifespan
@Darkkef I setup my minipc that has 2x4tb nvme setup as Raid 0(I know I do not have redundancy. I am currently testing this system). So I installed the ZimaOS on a USB flash drive. I decided to transfer the app data & image to the raid storage. Thanks for the input.
