Backup App - Whole Drive - OneDrive - ZimaOS 1.5.1-Beta

ZimaOS 1.5.1-Beta
Backup App - Source Onedrive Root of drive
Stuck on Calculating Weird if you try to click ZimaOS Source click on folder.

First picture - added, and it is still just sitting there.

If I click the folder on Zima Storage to choose a destination.

Is there a log I could check via ssh?

You are not booting from an USB drive?

Nope.

Ok, because:
https://community.zimaspace.com/t/backup-app-gui-is-freezing-zimaos-runs-on-external-drive/6237/8

From the onedrive, I was testing the beta fix for using the root of the drive, which allows me to select it, but it is stuck on calculating 400gb of data. So decided to try a backup from a network share of onedrive just as big. Same thing

I’m going to try 1 smaller folder to see if that does the same.

Wow wasn’t expecting that. 1 folder 11 items, fully calculated, but as soon as I clicked on destination Zima Storage it did the same thing.

I’ll try a different destination next. And nope, not the same issue choosing the USB NVME 2tb drive attached.

Adding a cloud (google drive) as a destination too, not an issue

And then removed the google and tried to add Zima Storage again, same issue.

This worked on 1.5.0 for me. I backed up the network share one drive to zima storage sda1.

The last image, what did the target choose, what kind of hardware device it was, can you describe it in detail? I will try to reproduce this problem.

@SirWill

Regarding the cloud drive, we are currently optimizing the experience of cloud drive backup and access functions.

Regarding the UI issue, our engineers are looking at this. I will send you a private message to follow up on this issue. Is that convenient?

Target, for any of them if I chose Zima Storage, It wouldn’t let me get to pick which Zima Storage to use. Update on the trying to do root of Onedrive, it eventually did finish calculating, and I could have did it’s backup to the USB OldOMV. But Just a few minutes ago I tried to select Zima Storage again, and got the UI bug.

ZimaOS-HD is a 1TB M2 drive
Zima Storage is SDA1 2TB ATA SSD
Connected via USB4 is a 2TB NVME in a USB 3 enclosure.

This is a Mini PC Minisforum UM690S
AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX
32gb DDR5 ram

Anytime you need to Private message me feel free. You can even do email if you want.

In line with @dropn9ne description “ZimaOS-HD with USB as the medium, whether it is a backup source or a backup target, it will not display properly, only a line will appear in the middle of the screen”, an issue we expect to fix in 1.5.2

How long would we expect 1.5.2 to be released?

It will probably be in the second half of November

as on the Files thread, it is not USB connected. It is a M2.2280 PCIe4.0 slot on the motherboard directly.

The only USB connected device is SDB1 SDA1 is SATA connected inside the case. ZimaOS-HD is the M2 on the MB.

No issues with this before 1.5.1 Beta1

I need some command line output

lsblk
lspci
lsusb

Run this command on the command line, which can help us determine what type your system disk is currently recognized as and what the index is
curl 'http://localhost/v2/local_storage/disk'
