usb hard drive backup jobs created via backup app disapear when system is restarted if zima drive to usb hard drive is used it is fine but usb hard drive to other usb drive is not retained this is happening since 1.5.3 and is still happening in 1.5.4 alpha3 versions
This is a confirmed issue.
Backup jobs created as USB > USB disappear after a reboot, while system disk > USB jobs persist normally. The behaviour is reproducible on 1.5.3 and still present in 1.5.4-alpha3.
This isn’t user error or a filesystem problem, it appears the Backup app is not reloading USB>USB job definitions on startup.
At the moment, the only reliable workaround is using system disk > USB.
This should be logged as a Backup app persistence bug. Email community@icewhale.org with your ZimaOS version and confirmation that it disappears after reboot.
