I just found that Time Machine backup was not working. Looking a bit more, avahi daemon crashed and can’t restart. Restarting smb doesn’t help.
Complete reboot with option for TimeMachine unchecked bring back avahi.
Is it a known bug?
After doing some tests with beta 5 with offline install
, I was able to set up again the Time Machine share, reboot and successfully do the backup.
But I found the trigger that crash avahi, logging to the Zima webinterface. A the same second the Bonjour record disappear from Discovery app and the Finder sidebar and only a reboot bring back avahi, but only until I log back in the web interface…
