I’m currently thinking about getting a UPS for my NAS.
I think Zima OS supports it.
But how does it work?
How do you configure the NAS?

On my NAS, I’m using a Corsair RM650e.
I just saw this:
Once you connect the USB cable from your UPS to your NAS, it will show in the settings you see.
Then click the cog to configure.
You can choose to shutdown after a certain time or when the battery in the UPS hits 15%.
You can also install PeaNUT from the App Store if you want more detailed info about your UPS.

As for the UPS, we’ll see later.
I’m currently torn between these two models:
I believe the APC uses the “apcupsd” driver
and that it is partially supported on Zima OS 1.6.2
I’m leaning toward the Eaton, but the APC is cheaper (though it’s also less powerful).
I need to make a decision in September 2026 when school starts again (at the end of summer vacation).
