Just wanted to say I’ve successfully installed ZimaOS, Jellyfin, and Immich on the trashcan Mac Pro.
The biggest downside to this is the Thunderbolt 2 ports. It’s near impossible to find external drives for it. I haven’t done it yet, but supposedly an external HDD connected to the USB 3.0 ports is sufficient for 4K files, though I’m happy with 1080p.
I already had the trashcan otherwise I don’t think it’d be worth buying.
