Setting vfio_iommu_type1.allow_unsafe_interrupts=0 should disable that option, but for Jerry’s test I suggest removing the parameter completely so the boot configuration matches exactly what he is trying to verify.
The more important comparison may be removing intel_iommu=on, as you have not tested that yet. Please change only what Jerry requested so the result is meaningful.
ZimaBrain CE is a local diagnostic tool I have been developing for ZimaOS. It collects the system evidence we normally request across many separate replies, including:
- ZimaOS and kernel version
- active kernel command line
- hardware and Intel graphics details
- failed services and likely root causes
- storage health and mount information
- memory and swap status
- running and failed containers
- recent system warnings
For this issue, the useful approach would be to run a ZimaBrain report before changing cmdline.txt, then run another report after the change if the system crashes again or remains stable. That would give us consistent evidence to compare.
You can find the installation and usage instructions here:
(ZimaBrain CE — Local ZimaOS Diagnostic Assistant - #20 by gelbuilding)
Please keep a backup of the original cmdline.txt and follow Jerry’s instructions for the boot-parameter test.
