Hi @everyoneeveryone,
We’ve been rebuilding the remote access experience in Zima Client and we want you to try it. Now we can connect in as little as 3S, switch between remote devices in under 1S even when they’re 1,000 km apart. This Beta focuses on faster connections, better stability, smoother multi-device switching, and more flexible ways to connect.
What’s new in this Beta:
- Faster, more stable connections: Automatically selects low-latency nodes and retries when the network is unstable
- More ways to connect: Local network discovery, Network ID, and direct IP connections, including IPs assigned by Tailscale or ZeroTier
- Smoother experience: Remember passwords, view real-time traffic on desktop, and upload feedback reports with one click
- Better multi-device support: Switch between devices more smoothly, with connections automatically restored when the new link is ready
Other improvements
- More reliable backups: Improved session management and file uploads, so switching devices won’t interrupt ongoing backups
- More reliable SMB mounting: Fixed Windows credential conflicts and macOS Finder mounting issues
This Beta is available on iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS.
We’d especially like your help testing:
- Connection success
- Connection speed
- Connection stability
- Overall experience
