I was so happy to get my Zimacube 2. After having had the ver 1 and sold it due to noise thermals etc etc. These are well known issues and well discussed here and elsewhere. anyway i love the form factor and all its IO options. As happy as i was in the AM the PM had me packing it up to ship back to Amazon, So disappointing. My (2) 8tb drives were at 65c with the drive bay fans at 100% needless to say i was not happy. After giving this product a second chance the bridge has been burned, hope other fair better. Drives are like gold these day and i wouldn’t dare put my 24tb $800 ironwolf pro’s in it. The cpu thermals are fine but for the love of god put (2) 120 or 140mm fans in this thing. I was not about to do all the hackery on a brand new unit that people have done in the past. I expect it to work flawlessly on day one. Alas history repeated itself. its shipped back lets see how long it takes to get my refund. Full review and photos on Amazon.
