hi all, new to this and have scrolled through multiple forums for answers. im running off an old laptop and added a usb storage option to increase my storage space. currently, its formatted, but not showing as being able to be written to. im currently unable to use it in a raid setup as an option either. do i need to somehow unmount this to be able to use it in a raid setup, or is there an extra step im missing to let this be written to and not just read?
Edit: adding context, it looks as though the drive is formated as read only for some reason, when i try to remedy this i get an error telling me the superblock cant be read.
edit edit: at this point im just going to overkill with info in the hopes someone can help out, here are logs we might need at the bottom.
