Unable to change language. By default Follow system is set for language option, if you select other language it will not change. Regardless what language you select it will stay is system default language.

The only way to apply another language is If you change the phone language (originally English)setting to something else (changed to Polish) and then open the app, language will be updated following system setting. Now you can flick back and forth between these two languages (English and Polish), no other languages will be applied. On your phone restore original language, app goes back to default (English). Now you still have access to both languages. No other language will work.

I have restarted app, log out, log back in, language change has not been registered.

  • Phone model - Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra

  • Android version - Android 16

  • ZimaOS version - 1.6.2

  • Connection method: LAN, Remote ID, VPN

  • Steps to reproduce the issue - Go to settings, general and select language other than “Follow system”

  • Screenshots or screen recordings - attached

  • Any relevant error messages - no error message

Okay, thank you so much for your feedback. We’ll verify it. Have you encountered any other problems?

Just initial testing/play around if you will.

  • it is working beautifully
  • lan connection and remote connection stable and fast
  • photo upload via wifi and mobile data working perfectly
  • file browser ass well no issue
  • all apps visible, i can open, stop, start etc. All seems good
  • in previous app version, remote connection or maybe it was the vpn part, was hogging my google play services. VPN would not disconnect when the app was closed or kept running in the background without any indication, the only way to clear was to reinstall app and delete vpn. This one is working exactly as it should.

Couple of things i have noticed, live metrics seem a bit juddery, i’m guessing refresh rate is set to 1 or 2 seconds?

When i log out of the app, close it and open it again, i’m already logged in ?

Do not have an option to enable biometrics, will try to clear app data and cache and see if that helps log in issue.

Overall it does work so much better than the previous version, standing ovation to the entire team. Well done.

I will keep testing and report any findings.

There are frequent crashes when connecting remotely. The functions work perfectly fine on a local connection. It can’t back up photos with their original creation dates. It adds a backup timestamp to all photos. It would be better if it backed up while preserving media information. Thank you.
