Hello! I have been unable to use my ZimaBoard 2 because I have been unable to connect to casaos.local, even though my PC has always been able to connect to ZimaBoard 2 with no issues. After unboxing and setup, in every tutorial video I have watched, the first step is to open a browser and type in casaos.local to begin the configuration process. But no matter which browser I try, when I attempt to navigate to casaos.local, I always get the same DNS error: “This site can’t be reached… DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN.”
I’m generally proficient with troubleshooting but struggle with networking issues. I’ve tried every solution I could find on the internet but with no luck. I don’t know what is causing the issue so I’m not sure how to fix it. Some ideas are to modify the configuration of my router (GLi dot net), antivirus (Bitdefender), or perhaps my VPN (Proton), though I have not been using it while attempting to troubleshoot this issue. My PC is Windows 11 Pro, Version 10.0.26200.
I would like to open a support ticket but it seems as though this can only be done via e-mail, so in addition to doing that, I figured I would post here and seek the assistance of the IceWhale Community as well. Thanks sincerely for your time in helping me attempt to troubleshoot and hopefully solve this issue, which I assure you, would have had me pulling me hair out by now… if I had any hair left!
