My ZimaOS won’t load storages properly when using a hard drive to sata/usb adapter. The problem only occurs on the “Files” app and the “Settings → Storage”.
When the drive is connected:
The “files” app takes a few minutes to load the storages. Sometimes it just won’t load anything at all as shown below.
The “Settings → Storage” also takes a few minutes to load, but it won’t load things properly. Even though the storage widget on the home page show the disk usage just fine.
Weirdly enough, sometimes when i connect to a USB 2 port instead of a USB 3 these problems won’t occur. That’s how i was able to set things up after a few tries.
Everything else works just fine. I can stream 4K 20gb movie files using Jellyfin, download/upload files through the mounted SMB share, navigate the files via terminal. I’ve been using the drive for a few months and there’s no sign of failure. Only the “Files” app and “Settings → Storage” won’t work properly.

I’m running v1.7.1 of ZimaOS. The drive is formatted with EXT4 (sdb).
