the disk page and files are taking too long to load, I believe it has to do with the new mode of operation of USB backups, since I use such storages and enabled backups on them
I have noticed the same behaviour, but not always…only sometimes when I open the Storage page in the Settings app. I also use a USB disk for backup, but not with the Backup app. I use my own rsync scripts.
I was facing the exat same issue. The problem on my case turned out to be a falty USB cable. (Even tho the drive worked fine when plugged in on my Laptop). Once i changed the drive’s usb cable, everything worked fine. Go figure…
Nevermind. The problem still persists. But I noticed that it only occurs when plugged on a USB 3 port. It works just fine when plugged on a USB 2. I’m using a external drive with a sata→usb adapter btw.
