Samba + USB drive

Hi

So, I have external USB drive connected to my NAS. While Samba for main storage works fine, there is no option to make USB drive permanently shared on Samba. Editing samba.conf is only temporary solution, because after reboot smb.conf is overwritten by the system and samba share is gone. Frustrating. Any solution?

How did you mount it? Let’s try this method.

Open Files:

Click the edit symbol.

Delete ZimaOS-HD and press Enter.

Click on the folder you want to share.

Thanks, not eactly the way I wanted (the whole drive), but this will do.
