After I upgraded to 1.6.2 my Raid 6 array has disappeared. I tried rebooting this did not help. I shutdown the PC and reseated all the drives this did not help. The error I see in the Storage Mgmt app is “RAID6Missed
Please check for any physical disk failure or incorrect removal.”
I was able to get it working by manually mounting the Raid 6 array as explained in your documentation.
mdadm -Av /dev/md0 /dev/sda /dev/sdb /dev/sdc /dev/sdd
mount /dev/md0 /media/foldername
Seems now I have to manually mount the RAID array after a reboot. Before the upgrade I never had to manualy mount it, it would do it automatically. How do I get it to mount automatically?
I would really appreciate some help from the Zima team about this. I sent an email and received no response from them and no reposnse to this thread either. To add what I have discovered for some reason after the upgrade there are 3 disk showing as missing from the RAID 6 array however these 3 disks are not part of the array.
One of the “missing disks” is actually the Zima OS disk. The other 2 are just data disks not part of the array so I don’t understand why the system thinks they are part of the array.
