Hello,
My Nvidia Quadro P1000 card is correctly detected by Zimaos, but it is not being used by Photoprism.
I am in version ZimaOS v1.5.0.
But on Photoprism The GPU is not being used by ffmpeg:
I put it in the Photoprism variables :
I saw on the Photoprims forum that you need to install the Nvidia Container Toolkit, but is it possible on ZimaOS?
Best regards
In the app settings panel, you can enable your GPU, right?
Since I couldn’t get it to work, I uninstalled PhotoPrism and I’m now using Immich, which displays my videos just fine. However, it’s the same issue; it doesn’t seem to be using my GPU.
I think I’m missing the Nvidia Driver Toolkit on Zimaos, but I can’t find any tutorials on how to check for this or how to install it.

Hi, for Nvidia users only. If you user immich and want the GPU do the machine-learning, you should add a suffix -cuda in the version settings.
It will be like this:
Look forward your success.
Thank you for the help:
I don’t have this option in my settings:
I installed Immich V2 ‘manually’ by following the installation instructions on their website because version V2 did not appear in the app store.
Following this, my installation appears as follows:
If I import Immich_progres and immich_redis into the Legacy app, nothing works anymore…
I added -cuda to the tag:
Actually, what bothers me is not so much the fact that it uses the CPU during recognition, but especially that it does not use the GPU when playing a video.
Thank you for your time
If you have ZimaOS 1.5.1 installed, then you will get the V2 after you install Immich in the ZimaOS App Store. (We have updated the store stock version. User with old versions will also get a streamlined upgrade process.)
The settings I provided are for machine-learning related functions like face detection or facial recognition.
If you want to manually install Immich and configure hardware transcoding, this article may be helpful:
