I’d second this feature request.
I’ve been using snapRAID with OpenMediaVault for a couple of years now. It’s basically like Unraid’s parity functionality but works with drives of different sizes, drives with data already on it and the benefits of having build-in bit-rot-protection.

EDIT: Just noticed that ZimaOS already uses mergerFS? At least according to this listing on the official Github and a post on this forum by the developer of mergerFS.
@Zima-Giorgio Could you please elaborate on the current status of mergerFS integration?
