I have no experience with immutable Linux distros, but I would like to install lm-sensors in ZimaOS. It can be used by telegraf and other monitoring agents for reporting CPU temps. Is this feasible?
I also would like to install apcupsd or NUT and the telegraf agent as well, but these may be able to run in Docker containers. I just always install them directly on the base OS, including Proxmox VE and Backup Server.
NUT is built in to zima after version 1.5.3, I just recently set up my ups and use zima as server to switch off my opnsense router when battery gets low. Just need to use terminal to make changes in the .conf files etc. just change directory to root cd / then cd /etc
