Hello,
I have everything working before. After one reboot my hdd is not showing in file manager then I go to **ZimaStorage and try to enable my hdd then error happen which is “**mount: /media/TwoTB:can’t read superblock on /dev/sdc. dmesg(1) may have more information after failed mount system call.”
please help me to solve
Yeah that’s not a normal mount issue.
“can’t read superblock” means the disk is seen, but the filesystem isn’t being read properly anymore.
Since it worked before reboot, most likely:
- filesystem corruption
- or the disk didn’t mount cleanly
- worst case, early disk failure
Quick check:
- does it still show in ZimaStorage?
- is
/media/TwoTB there but empty?
Don’t run repair commands yet if data matters.
Grab the dmesg error if you can, that will tell us if it’s fixable or hardware.
