How I can add docker Environments for ASN QR code in Paperles NGX

Dear community,
I am currently experiencing a comprehension issue.
I would like to extend my perfectly configured Paperles NGX installation on ZimaOS to include recognition for ASN QR codes.
For standard applications, these environment variables are inserted in docker-compose.yml.

  • PAPERLESS_CONSUMER_ENABLE_BARCODES=true
  • PAPERLESS_CONSUMER_BARCODE_SCANNER=ZXING
  • PAPERLESS_CONSUMER_ENABLE_ASN_BARCODE=true

Unfortunately, my attempt to enter these variables in > Settings → db → environment variables < failed.
The entries have no effect.
Is this the wrong location to insert the commands?

if something wrong with my request please get back to me.
To give more information.
All guidlines to install the ASN function based to edit the docker-compose.yml
If I investigate in the ZimaOS documentation this will not exist in ZimaOS.
So I search now the possibility to insert the named varibles from the first task.
If anything is unclear, please ask me again.
I am not a native English speaker and I have no knowledge
of Linux and its derivatives.
