How do backups work in detail, and when are they performed?

I want to back up some SMB shares from other systems. The first backup works without any problems, but after that, the backups do not run automatically again. When should they run? Is there a way to define fixed times when the backups are performed?

In 1.5, the default option should be auto.

Also, you can do it manually afterward if you choose the second option.

I am having the same issue. The automatic backup stops after a short time, despite being set to Auto. I have to manually initiate the backup each time.

Is there any solution?

Same problem here. I am using version ZimaOS 1.5. Thank you for this great program.
I have set up three backup jobs under “Backup”. All three jobs are set to “Always”. However, the jobs only ran once and should run again and again. But they don’t do that. Changes were made to the directories and new files were created. I can only save these changes if I manually click “Start”. A solution based on a schedule would certainly be very helpful or “Always” actually starts again.
Thank you for your help.

@kkmachado @Juwa Hey guys, the backup is scheduled internally daily. We are planning a scheduled function for the user to customize.
